b0at: I don't like the analogy to the bank message. Identifying it as a fake is simple without confronting the falsified authority figure. Going into the other room with the actor requires ignoring the command he's trying to evaluate.
b0at: It's a matter of knowledge, not authority, in the email case.
b0at: It's more effective to say "don't trust email, get verification by logging in separately at the bank" than to say "make good judgements when somebody else might be at risk and you're under another party's thumb".

Space burial firm Space Services, Inc. confirmed that he had arranged for his cremated ashes to be released into Earth orbit, and could be on a Falcon 1 rocket launching from California's Vandenberg Air Force Base, tentatively scheduled for launch in September. The ashes of Star Trek writer John Meredyth Lucas, who died in 2002, are also set to be on the flight.
