For the first time in 25 years of holding the Burning Man event, we have reached our maximum allowed annual population increase as stipulated by the Bureau of Land Management (BLM), which oversees the Black Rock Desert National Conservation Area. As a result, Burning Man has been forced to exercise its oft-stated right to cap ticket sales.
