nickronomycon: although (b) is discussed in the slashdot commentary and seems sound .. but the article gives no description of how the design employed is intended to exploit the principle
nickronomycon: the commercial weights on both sides of the argument seem evenly balanced ... at least one seller of fans is not highly reputed for the accuracy of their technical data, at least one merchant of air ionizers suffered recently when much fuss was made of the miniscule amount of ozone generated as a by-product of their device's operation
